Participants will be provided a briefing at Giant Springs State Park where they will learn about noxious weed invaders along the riparian and prairie zones adjacent to the Missouri River. Participants will be divided into teams led by agency personnel and help pull targeted noxious weeds in pre-identified areas. At noon, PPL will provide lunch for all participants. This community work effort will help familiarize participants with noxous weed identification and help them understand the mechanical measures used to manage certain treatable weed species.
